GENERAL RENTAL CONDITIONS
L’Alizé du Levant is a tourist accommodation rental establishment offering para-hotel services, reserved exclusively for a naturist clientele (see House Rules below).
Prices
• Stay prices are indicated in Euros (€), VAT included.
• Tourist tax is not included in the price and will be payable upon arrival (payment by credit card or cash).
Booking & Payment Terms
• To make a reservation, you must complete the booking form or the contact form on the website, or send us an email directly at: lalizedulevant@gmail.com, or call us at +33 (0)6 70 58 51 65.
• Booking deposits (arrhes):
o For bookings made more than one month before the first day of rental: a deposit of 30% of the total stay amount is required at the time of booking. The balance must be paid no later than one month before the first day of rental (a reminder email will be sent). Failing payment of the balance within this timeframe, the booking will be cancelled.
o For bookings made less than one month before the rental date: the full amount of the stay must be paid at the time of booking.
• The booking is taken into account upon receipt of the deposit or full payment, which must be made within 48 hours following the sending of the booking summary email.
• The booking becomes effective once it has been confirmed by the management (confirmation email of payment).
• Specific conditions:
• During high season (late June to late August), a minimum stay of 7 nights is required for bookings made more than one month in advance.
• A €22 incl. VAT surcharge applies for stays of 3 nights or less.
• Should we be unable to honor your booking request due to force majeure, the amounts paid will be refunded.
Payment Methods
For bookings, payments by bank transfer or credit card are accepted.
On site, cash, credit card, or bank transfer are accepted for extras or stay extensions.
Arrivals & Departures
Arrivals: Accommodations are available from 3:00 PM. If you arrive earlier, you can leave your luggage with us (please let us know your arrival time). We will then conduct a check-in inspection of your accommodation together.
Departures: Accommodations must be vacated and cleaned by 10:00 AM at the latest. We will then conduct a check-out inspection of your accommodation together. If you plan to leave in the late afternoon, you can leave your luggage with us and enjoy the rest of your stay.
Late Arrival – Early Departure
Late arrival or early departure does not entitle the tenant to any price reduction or refund.
In the absence of any news from you (email, phone call, etc.), the accommodation will be made available for booking again the day following the scheduled arrival date after 3:00 p.m.
Any amount paid for the total stay will remain the property of the establishment.
Cancellation
In the event of cancellation, all sums paid (deposit or full payment) are non-refundable.
We strongly recommend taking out individual cancellation insurance.
What Is Included with Your Accommodation
Welcome Kit
2 coffee pods with sugar per person
1 bottle of water per person
1 garbage bag
1 mosquito coil
Sponge, microfiber cloth, dishwashing liquid, 1 roll of toilet paper
2 cleaning sprays: white vinegar and black soap
Bed Linen Kit
Mattress protector, Pillow protector, Pillowcases, Fitted sheet, Flat sheet / Duvet cover
Towel Kit
2 bath towels
2 kitchen towels
Additional Information
Towel kit: For stays of 2 weeks or more, one additional towel kit is provided free of charge per week.
Bed linen kit: For stays of 3 weeks or more, one additional bed linen kit is provided free of charge every 2 weeks.
Cleaning
L’Alizé du Levant is not a hotel. Cleaning of the accommodation during the stay is the responsibility of the tenants.
Upon arrival, we provide you with accommodation that is clean, healthy, and in good hygienic and working condition.
At departure, we require that:
☐ The accommodation is left clean and tidy
☐ Floors are swept or vacuumed
☐ Surfaces are wiped clean
☐ Objects and decorations are returned to their original place
☐ Trash bins are emptied
☐ No waste or unpleasant odors remain
☐ Dishes are washed, dried, and put away
☐ Worktops are wiped
☐ Cooking plates are cleaned
☐ Sink is clean
☐ Refrigerator is emptied (no food left inside)
☐ Tables are washed and wiped
☐ Kitchen utensils are washed, dried, and stored
☐ Beds are stripped
☐ Bed linen, towels, and tea towels are gathered at the foot of the bed
☐ Nothing is left under beds or in cupboards
☐ Windows are closed
☐ Lights are turned off
☐ Keys are handed over during the check-out inspection
To this end, you may choose:
- Either to clean the accommodation yourself
- Or to entrust us with this task upon departure.
End-of-stay cleaning fees apply if cleaning has not been carried out by the tenant or if the checklist above is not respected:
- Stay of less than one week: €27,5 incl. VAT
- Stay of one week or more: €55 incl. VAT
Pets
Pets are not allowed, for hygiene reasons and to ensure everyone’s peace and comfort.
Any guest arriving with a pet will have their stay immediately terminated without refund.
Insurance
Guests are responsible for their own insurance coverage.
The guest releases L’Alizé du Levant from all liability in the event of damage caused by falling branches, bad weather, natural disasters, loss of personal belongings, or injuries occurring during the stay.
L’Alizé du Levant declines all responsibility for incidents falling under the tenant’s civil liability.
Maximum Capacity – Subletting – Tenant Responsibility
The maximum occupancy per accommodation is 2 persons.
Subletting or hosting undeclared third parties is strictly prohibited.
The tenant is responsible for the behavior of their guests.
Security Deposit
No security deposit is required. We trust our guests.
However, we reserve the right to invoice any damage, deterioration, loss, or non-compliant cleaning observed on the day of departure or afterward.
Water on the Island
The Île du Levant is supplied by a borehole. This water is non-potable (not safe for drinking) and available in limited quantities. While L’Alizé du Levant is equipped with a filtration system, the tap water remains non-potable.
Usage and Consumption
– Tap Water: Intended for sanitary use only (showers, toilets, laundry, dishwashing, etc.).
– Drinking Water: For your personal consumption, you must purchase bottled water (available on-site or at the island's grocery stores).
Every Drop Counts
Water is a precious and scarce resource on the island. Please conserve it whenever possible.
Do not let the tap run unnecessarily. Prioritize quick showers. Thank you for helping us preserve our resources.
Applicable Law
These general rental conditions are governed by French law, and any dispute relating to their application falls under the jurisdiction of the French courts.
Personal Data Protection (GDPR)
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) No. 2016/679, the personal information you provide during your booking (last name, first name, address, email, telephone number, payment information) is used solely for the management of your stay at L’Alizé du Levant.
This data is retained for the period necessary to manage your booking and stay and to comply with legal obligations.
You have the right to access, rectify, restrict processing, object to, and delete your personal data at any time by contacting us at: lalizedulevant@gmail.com.
Your data is never transferred to third parties without your explicit consent.
